My Role: Design, Art Direction
PBS needed a motion piece that explained why PBS matters today. It should inspire someone to believe they don’t want to live without PBS in their world. They wanted to push the concept of being opened up to new ideas, places, people, and trying something new. The look needed to work for a huge variety of shows, from Sesame Street to Sherlock to Nova.
My design is very big and bold but has a sophistication that is appropriate for PBS. The color palette and treatment of footage make all the different shows feel unified.
